Job Summary
As a Game Development Project Manager at FlightFX, you will oversee and coordinate aircraft development projects for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, you will ensure timely project delivery, optimize team communication through digital tools, and manage resources effectively. A strong aviation passion and familiarity with flight simulation are essential to succeeding in this role.

Responsibilities
- Manage the complete project lifecycle using Agile and Waterfall methodologies, from initial concept through deployment.
- Leverage project management tools including JIRA, Slack, Discord, Zoom, Notion, and Google Business Suite for efficient workflow management and effective communication.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, maintaining active collaboration among designers, engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders.
- Regularly update and maintain comprehensive project documentation, clearly communicating risks, issues, and milestones.
- Utilize AI and automation tools for optimizing project management tasks including communication management, data analysis, and status reporting.
- Actively identify and mitigate risks, addressing resource constraints proactively.
- Review team members' time entries regularly for clarity, completeness, and accuracy, contributing to forecasting and budget management processes.
- Build and maintain strong rapport with all team members and external participants involved in aircraft development projects.
- Facilitate clear and concise communication with stakeholders and senior management through regular updates and reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Familiarity and proficiency with digital collaboration and management tools including JIRA, Slack, Discord, Zoom, Notion, and Google Business Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI and digital tools to enhance project management efficiency and communications.
- Experience reviewing and managing project budgets, time entries, and forecasting.
- Exceptional organizational skills, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills essential for remote teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
- Availability during EST working hours.

Compensation is negotiable based on expertise tier and region.
